I think I’ve spent most of my life taking pictures even when I didn’t have a camera. I don’t know how many times I’ve caught myself looking at things that most people won’t give a second glance. What I love about photography is the ability to alter what is seen either through manipulation with camera or with software, because it allows me to see things in a new way. It reminds me of a quote from the photographer Wynn Bullock, “Mysteries lie all around us, even in the most familiar things, waiting only to be perceived.” Crystal Sutherland |
